driving into jackson hole

sorry if you feel like the photos are redundant. i couldn't get enough of the scenery!

 driving through yellowstone. snow everywhere!

 bee took this one!

waiting on old faithful

always finding friends. in nature. :)

leaving yellowstone. :)

she was just as amazed by the beauty as we were. she loved the mountains.
barefoot and happy. per usual. :)

nothing like a fishing trip in the mountains

and with a family trip comes family pictures. :)

  i know. sorry. not sorry!

awhile ago now... like back in may... we took a family trip to the lovely jackson hole, wyoming.
we started our adventure flying into slc to stay with an old mission companion of adam's.
brady and his wife and boys were so sweet and hospitable to have us stay. and it was so fun to hear brady and adam catch up and reminisce. we soon loaded up our ford escape [rental] and headed up to jackson hole.
utah really is beautiful and the drive north was lovely. the weather and the temperatures were really perfect. kind of like another spring to experience. we stayed in this really great lodge in the mountains. fully equipped for the entire goodwin crew. nana and poppa, aaron and deanna, amanda and douglas and their three and then adam and i and our two.
there was so much to see. and really a breathtaking view at just about any angle... so instead of trying to describe, i'll let my photos prove it to you.
we stayed up there for six days then headed back down to slc to end our adventure. we even got to see steph and mark and lisa! that really was icing on the cake. miss them all dearly!
it turned out to be a great trip and i'm glad we got to experience it with nana and poppa and the whole clan. made for some precious memories. :)
